On November 10th the DMA will be holding their annual door drop seminar...

On November 10th the DMA will be holding their annual door drop seminar aimed at users and suppliers to bring them up to date on the current issues and legislation. The seminar will also outline the latest initiatives to arrest the declining circulations of free newspapers which have really struggled in the recession. There will also be information on what the DMA Doordrop Council had done in the last year to help the door drop industry.

Held at the Mercure Brandon Hall Hotel and Spa in Coventry there is also a networking dinner the night before where members of the industry will be in attendance. Speakers include Mark Young from the The Leaflet Company, Mark Davies from TNT Post, Robert Keitch from the DMA and Philip Ricketts from Royal Mail Door to Door among others. Split into various sections the day will also cover the PAS 2020, doordrops and the environment, changes in UK society and a Royal Mail perspective on the challenges facing UK door drops. The day starts at 0930 and finishes at 1615.
